About Dumb Luck Kiss

Dumb Luck Kiss is a faceless, gender-bent dark-pop project built on panic, pettiness, and survival. Instead of playing by the “pretty, polished, brand-safe” rules, DLK leans into the messy parts – the breakups that broke you, the gaslighting that scrambled your brain, the intrusive thoughts that accidentally rhyme.

The project lives somewhere between glitter and blood spatter: horror-movie camp, emotional oversharing, and big, sticky hooks you can scream along to in the car at 2 a.m. Dumb Luck Kiss writes from real trauma and real rage, but never forgets the punchline. If it hurts, it might as well slap.

Music

“Blizzard Blues” – debut single

“Blizzard Blues” is the first official release from Dumb Luck Kiss – a one-minute instrumental sketch that marks the beginning of the universe. Released under Petty Panic Productions, it’s a placeholder spell: staking out the name, building the artist pages, and opening the door for the full-scale petty revenge anthems to come.

More singles are in the works: dark-pop tracks about narcissistic exes, gaslighting, and turning long-term emotional damage into something loud, cathartic, and uncomfortably catchy.

Sound & Aesthetic

Musically, Dumb Luck Kiss lives in the neighborhood of artists like Ashnikko, scene-adjacent pop, and glitchy, theatrical alt. Expect:

  • heavy, distorted bass and punchy drums
  • chanty, ear-worm hooks made for screaming on stage and on TikTok
  • lyrics about manipulation, breakups, and reclaiming your power
  • cute-meets-creepy visuals: pastel colors, knives, hearts, and haunted-house camp

The project is intentionally anonymous: no clear face, no body, no neat little box to put the artist in – just the music and the world around it.
